These intensive Stansilavski courses will take place Sunday 5th March and Sunday 19th March 12-4pm. BOOKING NOW OPEN: The cost of the intensive is on special offer if you book in February for only £50! After that it will cost £70 for the course. This includes both dates.

“Stanislavski’s system is the cornerstone of modern acting technique. Whether you’re new to acting and wanting to learn the basics or an experienced actor in need of a refresher, join Mountview-trained director Jen McGregor to explore key text An Actor Prepares in depth.”

Session 1 will focus on chapters 1 – 4, covering Given Circumstances, Imagination, and being observed. Participants are asked to read the relevant chapters in advance.
Session 2 will focus on chapters 4 – 8, covering Concentration of Attention, Units and Objectives, and truth in acting. Participants are asked to read the relevant chapters in advance, learn a short text (provided by email) and bring a small, non-fragile object. 


We are extending our offer of a free trial for our Secondary 1-6 class on Mondays. If anyone would like to come try it out then you can do so this Monday and next for free. From 5-6.30pm in Stockbridge House (LifeCare Centre). Come along and try it or bring a friend to class!


S1-6s PERFORMANCE: On Monday 19th June we will be invited the families of ur teenage classes to come join us at Stockbridge House for a sharing of work in a performance based on the History of Theatre. This will be a free performance during class time and we look forward to showing you all a piece devised by the students with Marion.

ADULT CLASS OPEN NIGHT: On Fri June 9th from 7-9pm we will have an open night where all the adult classes will be invited to come together. The Intermediate and Advanced class will have the opportunity to perform and see each others work. This will not be open to the public and is a sharing between classes only.
