What's it all about?
Looking to develop your performance skills and perform in front of a live audience?
From casting, rehearsals, to performances in our own studio in front of a public audience, EAS: Performs is here to offer actors training in a more practical setting.
Supporting you every step of the way, this course will take you through the professional production process. Our director and tutor Adam Butler has had years of experience in the industry and will treat this course like a professional rehearsal room. Helping you develop skills and understanding the needs of a production, this course is perfect for those looking to perform in front of a live audience and learn the ins and outs of a rehearsal room.
Using contemporary American drama texts, EAS: Performs will nurture and guide you through the various aspects of a professional production, including:
• Casting
• How to analyse text and learn lines
• Blocking and stage craft
• Characterisation and making bold creative decisions
• Rehearsal conduct
This all leads to a live performance in our own black box studio to a public audience.
