NEW: EAS DEVISING CERTIFICATED COURSE

A chance to create your own work with other professionals. Under the process & present to industry professionals.

Get DEVISING experience with an EAS Certification. 

Learn how to create a piece from scratch & be responsible for production choices and delivery of the final piece. Throughout you will be supported by experiences theatremakers, and visiting industry professionals, who will provide facilitation, practical guidance and mentoring.

This course will offer valuable training credit and equip members with the skills they would need to start making their own work. From EAN Feedback we have learnt that members want to make their own work but don't know how. By the end of this course you will understand the process and be in a position to make your own shows, connections and choices in the future.

Learning Outcomes

 

• Students will develop the skills necessary to lead and collaborate on devised productions. These include but are not limited to research, project management, devising techniques, physical theatre techniques, voice production, puppetry, dramaturgy and stage management.

• Students will gain experience of an industry sharing.

• Students will receive Edinburgh Acting School’s Certificate in Devising.
