New Director Announcement

Edinburgh Acting Team are excited to welcome EMILY INGRAM to the EAS Family.

Emily will be joining from mid-January to direct the next Performance Course production running from February-June 2020.

Originally from Portsmouth, Emily is an Edinburgh-based director and writer with particular experience in literary and accessible theatre. Recent eclectic credits include The Sprite In The Dolls House (Palace of Holyroodhouse); Quantum Physics Vs Zombies (Glasgow Science Festival); Scattered (rehearsed reading, Traverse Theatre); The Grandmothers Grimm (Southwark Playhouse, Buxton Festival Fringe, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Theatre On The Sofa tour) and The Tempest (Theatre On The Sofa tour). She is the co-director of literary theatre company, Some Kind of Theatre, and a current member of Birds of Paradise’s Young Artist scheme. Emily is interested in and influenced by horror theatre, Brecht, Graeae, and Doctor Who.

Her wealth of knowledge and experience will make for a fantastic experience for our actors joining the Performance Course.

Auditions take place on Thursday 23rd January - for more information email

Rehearsals will run from February-June with a public performance scheduled for late June. The style of show can be described as frivolous chaos, some theatre farce and just a sprinkle of black comedy.
